Countdown to Zero no Kiseki – One Day to Zero

One day left! I heard some people already have it! Lucky! Mine should be shipping soon. Thankfully, I’ve got things to keep me busy for the time being.

Japanese translation provided by c_ling @ twitter.

The bag’s journey ended.

The poms realized that someone was opening the bag…

And they were discovered?!

However, this little discovery was a surprise. Not who they wanted, but at least it meant a (safe?) way home.

Many thanks to ZakuKitty for her Campanella cameo!
Thanks to ot_atma for being a hand model, too~

Countdown to Zero no Kiseki – Two Days to Zero

The game is packed up? Copies will be shipping tomorrow~

Translated by c_ling @ twitter, as always. Thanks~

The poms’ trip found them in a bag. It was dark inside. (No, there was no Grue, thankfully.)

The poms realized they were in a pair of shoes once the bag was opened.

The noise of pins crashing only told them that they were in one place. A bowling alley.

They knew this was no place for cute little poms. They took refuge, once again, back in the bag.

The bag was soon closed up and they were back on another, lengthy trip. Hopefully it would be home, next.

Countdown to Zero no Kiseki – Three Days to Zero

Three days left! Everyone else excited?!

The next two posts after this will have only a couple of photos, sadly. However, I do intend a specialty post at the end of all of this to make up for everything.

Japanese translation provided by c_ling @ twitter.

In order to find a way home, the poms decide it best to find a higher vantage point, as attempted once before.

The giant ‘dandelion’ tower was scratched off the list quickly. It was hard to find a way up.

The vantage point from the sixth floor of this building didn’t provide much help, nor answers to old questions.

Great view of arts complexes- but the poms aren’t here to see the symphony or opera.

The poms have never seen a city like this! Where do they go from this point?

They chose to hitch a ride with a business man. Who knows where he’s going?

Bonus photo! Was it the poms on the Grassy Knoll?! The world may never know…

Countdown to Zero no Kiseki – Four Days to Zero

Wow. Four days. Really? :o

As before, translation by c_ling @ twitter.

I think the poms are a bit homesick.

Come Sunday, they started looking for a Septian Church.

I didn’t have the heart to tell them…

That I didn’t think that they’d find one here.

Maybe they are starting to realize it’s time to go home. :(

The churches featured are:
The First Christian Church of Ft Worth
St. Andrews Episcopal Church
First United Methodist Church of Dallas

Countdown to Zero no Kiseki – Five Days to Zero

I can’t believe it’s five days till!

Anyway… Sorry for such a short post today. Today was long, and I didn’t have a time to finish the one I intended. Thankfully, I made a backup, just in case.

I will have this translated later.

Of course, as always, food is good. After a trip to the stockyards, the poms chose to go for a hearty meal.

This restaurant ‘names’ you after a celebrity or fictional character to go with your entree. The Poms got to be Cyndi Lauper.

A soda and homemade pickles start the meal.

But the main course was a meaty cheeseburger, with fresh veggies, and curly fries.

The poms were pleased and energized to go on their next adventure.

All photos were taken at The Twisted Root Burger Company in Richardson, Texas.

Countdown to Zero no Kiseki – Six Days to Zero

ja ja jaaan~

There was a request for the Ft Worth Stockyards. So. Guess what. That’s where the poms went today. :D It was a very long day, but it was amazingly worth it. I was glad to go. The hardest thing was actually picking WHICH photos to use. I may show some of the others later, too.

As with most of the others, this chapter is translated by c_ling @ twitter.

When the poms found the stockyards, they just knew that they might meet a real life cowboy. This was very exciting.

Of course, they found the hats first. They were sad that there were none in their size. :(

On the quest for a cowboy, they first went to the rodeo arena! …which had a very distinct lack of cows, boys, and cowboys.

But they found cattle. Cattle usually means that cowboys are around!

The forlorn Poms, after hours of searching, choose to ride a toy horse instead.

But when their hopes were down, a cowb- err… cowgirl showed up with her horse ‘Whiskey Pete’.

With their goal complete, the poms find another train and settle in to nap. What will their next destination be?

All photos taken (save the last one) at the Ft Worth Stockyards. The last photo was on the TRE (Trinity Rail Express)

Countdown to Zero no Kiseki – Seven Days to Zero

The story continues on. Looks like I’ve got a detour in my plan, though, starting tomorrow. Let’s see how much I can get done. So much to do, so little time.

Many thanks to the locations that put up with me and my camera, and of course to all the readers that are enjoying these.

I’ve also got the first post translated now, thanks to my friend Ayu Ohseki. :D

This post has also been translated by Ayu Ohseki~

The little poms realized that food is a much needed necessity on their trip. Thankfully, they found a local restaurant very unique to the area!

First on the menu: this restaurant is the only place to serve okonomiyaki in the area.

Of course, they also chowed down on the night’s sushi special, as well.

But the best part of the night- the chocolate parfait! It was very daunting to them.

It took quite a bit of work, but it was doable!

The poms were finally able to defeat the parfait and call it a night.

This is quite the vacation. Who knows what’s in store in the coming days!

Countdown to Zero no Kiseki – Eight Days to Zero

As before- thanks for the translations c_ling @ twitter!

The little poms have decided to have fun instead of getting back home. Why waste a good vacation?

While they found an arcade, they learned it wasn’t too friendly to Poms.

The hammer games were a very bad idea.

Unable to reach the trigger for a shooting game! D:

Skee-ball is definitely a bit of a problem.

“To heck with the arcade,” they said. But they learned miniature golf was no better.

So the little Poms set off seek to find entertainment in other ways.

To be continued~
つづく

Countdown to Zero no Kiseki – Nine Days to Zero

I have come to learn that I’ve had a number of Japanese readers view my images. While I won’t have much time with the others, I did throw a request to a friend (C_Ling @ Twitter) to translate these sentences into Japanese. So this post will actually be bilingual! Yay!

Nine Days to Zero

Our little Poms, on their new adventure, seek a way to figure out where they are.

“We need to find higher ground!” said one as they looked around the park.

So the Poms got to work on climbing the steps!

“I see something!” called one Pom.

Unfortunately, all they found was a ‘human sundial.’ Amazing, yes, but no help at all, sadly.

So they hitched a ride. Might as well enjoy this strange place while they can.

Bonus! – Cellular Tower. No, I wouldn’t let them climb it. :(

All photos (except the bonus one) were taken at Celestial Park in Addison, Texas.
